Exam Results + Redux Dev Log 28/06/2013

So today I got the results of my first year at University, and I got an overall weighted average of 75.2% giving me a First for Year 1!

First Year doesn’t really matter in the scheme of things as the mark doesn’t contribute to the overall degree mark, but it was important for me to show myself I was up to the challenge of University study, and I think I’ve managed to prove that, so I’m very happy overall!

 

 

Anyway, in Redux news, since last time I’ve been fiddling with logic scripting and debug-tools to try and figure out why a certain new character wouldn’t do what he was supposed to, and I believe I’m getting close now at least.

 

We have a new 3D modeler starting to get working for the project, ArchSonix is going to be starting to concentrate on geometry, furniture and props to bring more life to the world.

If you played Metro 2033 or Metro: Last Light, you’ll know just how ‘alive’ those worlds seem and we’re taking many inspirations from that to try and bring them into STALKER.

 

Finally, if you were annoyed by the lack of medic on the Skadovsk after a certain ‘incident’, you’ll be pleased to know that Redux v2.0 will be addressing that point!

    You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

      Which topic, exactly? I can always write a post explaining something a little more if people are interested!
